Prospect Church’s legacy dates back to 1871, as chronicled in the pages of the “Wilmington Star”. With just 25 members, the journey began, marked by the construction of five distinct sanctuaries, each a testament to faith and perseverance.
From the humble beginnings of the log-built sanctuary in 1865 to the grandeur of the 1946 brick structure adorned with stained glass windows, every phase of Prospect Church’s evolution tells a unique story. Our redesign aimed to capture these narratives and present them in an engaging digital format.
As stewards of history, we recognized the importance of preserving Prospect Church’s rich heritage. Through meticulous research and attention to detail, we integrated historical photographs, documents, and anecdotes into the website, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the journey of the church.
